Gramm Vineyards Branding

Located in the highly sought after wine country, Gramm Vineyards is a beautiful wedding/event venue that functions as both an event space and an Airbnb. It’s a sophisticated and classical space, which very much inspired the nature of the logotype.

The client wanted Gramm to stand out in relationship to Vineyards , but did not necessarily want the secondary word to fall to the background. Instead of utilizing size as the main differentiation which might cause Vineyards to be lost, I gave Gramm a bold weight with simple shadow detailing, and gave Vineyards a soft and flowing script that connected to the top word.

Additionally, the client wanted to have a mark that could be used separately on items such as wine bottles or business cards. Following the connection between the top and bottom words of the logotype, I created two alternates; a singular monogram “mark” with direct styles from the original logo for display sizes, and another with a monogram and a logotype appropriate for very small sizes.
