DelaVenza Lingerie Logotype

A woman-owned lingerie brand that makes undergarments for breastfeeding mothers, DelaVenza was the first of its kind that made nursing bras that are both functional and a little “cha cha cha”.

The client wanted her logo to embody feminism and delicacy while also having a strong enough mark to truly be a statement piece. In order to achieve this, I created letters that felt strong and high contrast but were surrounded by delicacy; soft curves and flourishes.

The letterforms in DelaVenza had a a combination of very bold and very thin strokes, with softness going into the endings of the letters to give the mark a smooth taper.

Additionally, I made sure to utilize DelaVenza’s symmetry as an opportunity to make the “V” a central focus, which further highlighted femininity and also functioned on its own as a monogram.
